Hello to all my gal pals, my beautiful, strong friends who are “women of a certain age.”

It’s been years since we burned our bras and broke through glass ceilings. We knew we could do and be whatever we wanted.  “I am Woman, hear me roar,” was our theme song thanks to Helen Reddy.

 If I have to, I can do anything

I am strong

I am invincible

I am woman

We still believe in and follow our mantra, and fortunately, have created new paths and opportunities for our daughters and granddaughters – even though they may not know Helen Reddy.  However, society has not necessarily caught on that there’s a new definition, a new face and new expectations for the Woman of A Certain Age in the 21st century.
